Hi, I Am Bobet Bennett-Marshall, thanks so much for your interest in learning more about us. After a successful corporate career, I recently decided to focus on my entrepreneurial ventures full time as a business coach/consultant and I am now available to assist organizations and individuals with a wide array of comprehensive services on an interim or long-term basis. I am extremely excited to use my expertise to help you achieve your goals and look forward to working with you on a customized solution for your project.

  • Jan - Anything else that you would like to share?
    Bobet - I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica and currently resides in South Florida with my family. I am well known for my trademark beaming smile and infectious personality and am an avid travel enthusiast who strives to visit at least two new countries annually. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, visiting local farmers markets, listening to music, and spending quality time with my family.
  • Jan – “Bobet, I noted that you have both operations and accounting experience, can you please share highlight of your background with me.
    Bobet – That’s correct, I have both accounting and operations experience and am passionate about them both. I recently served as Senior Vice President-South, for a large multi-million-dollar residential management company for 3 ½ years, bringing years of strategic, tactical, and financial expertise to the company. I led the teams that provided accounting and financial services to the 1,600 community associations managed by the South region. Prior to joining the residential management company, I spent 17 ½ years with a large $5B fortune 500 hospitality company, where I was the Regional Vice President of Resort Operations – Florida, Caribbean, and New Orleans. I also held several leadership roles in finance and corporate services including Vice President Division Controller, and Vice President of Finance-Enterprise Shared Services. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
  • Jan – I saw on LinkedIn that you were a finalist in the South Florida Business Journal CFO of the year awards, can you tell me more about that.
    Bobet - My authentic and collaborative leadership approach has garnered me several leadership awards throughout my career and most recently, I am proud that I was a top 3 finalist in the South Florida Business Journal 2022 CFO of the year. My accomplishments navigating successfully with double digits engagement score improvements and timeliness scored during a tough time in the labor market was instrument with being named an honoree.
  • Jan - How has your background helped you to be successful over the years?
    Bobet - I have had many successes over the years from my early career in public accounting to middle management and executive management. As a corporate executive for over 20 years, I have led several Fortune 500 finance and operations departments. My dynamic leadership, strong team building, talent management, and pro-active partnership coupled with strong financial and technical expertise was instrumental in delivering the organizations’ strategic goals. My vast experiences in strategic planning, project management, business transformation and process reengineering has enabled me to effectively combine strategic operational and financial expertise to navigate critical business challenges while identifying cost savings and revenue maximization opportunities.
  • Jan - What are some of your other passions?
    Bobet - I am extremely passionate about diversity and inclusion and have served in several diversity, equity and inclusion advisory capacities ranging from director to executive sponsor. I have successfully launched several Associate business groups and served as a trusted advisor to the executive teams and the board on diversity, equity and inclusion matters. I have also served on multiple non-profit boards for several years in numerous roles varying from director, treasurer and president. I truly enjoy giving back to the community and spending my time volunteering at local events. I recently signed up for the Alzheimer Foundation walk and am looking forward to contributing to such a great cause. As a charismatic influencer, mentoring and coaching future leaders is also a tremendous passion for me, and I am truly excited to dedicate some of my time to develop the next generation of exceptional leaders.
